LifeWise partners meet in Oslo to prepare the final steps
Handling stress, speaking up and making good decisions are skills students use every day. LifeWise helps schools give students aged 12 to 15 space to practise them.
On 9 October 2026, FURIM Institutt hosted the LifeWise partners in Oslo to review progress and agree the remaining work before the project ends on 30 November 2026. Around the table were Johannes Kepler Privatschulen from Germany, Wellnist from Türkiye and Autorska Szkoła Podstawowa Jaskółka im. Simony Kossak from Poland.
From feedback to classroom tools
The meeting brought together the work on LifeWise's two main resources: SkillHUB, an e-learning platform for students, and WiseGuide, a practical handbook for teachers and educators.
SkillHUB is online, with interactive activities and game-based learning about everyday challenges. Partners reviewed feedback from the Learning, Teaching and Training activity in Poland, including 25 survey responses, to identify what needed further attention.
FURIM leads the WiseGuide activity. In Oslo, partners agreed to revise the draft using the feedback received, seek an external review and complete translations into German, Polish, Norwegian and Turkish in November.
Making the resources useful beyond the project
Partners also planned teacher workshops, multiplier events and LifeWise corners in schools. The purpose is to help educators use the materials in their own settings and keep life skills education part of school life after the funded project period.
LifeWise combines digital learning with educational games, role play and real-life scenarios. Its focus is practical: emotional regulation, stress management, communication, empathy, critical thinking and decision-making, with particular attention to girls and students with fewer opportunities.
