🤖 Robotikk Workshop for Youth – 1 Session (Understanding)
8. okt. 2025
Join us for an inspiring, hands-on Robotikk Workshop designed for curious young minds eager to discover how robots shape our everyday world!
This interactive session blends creativity, teamwork, and real-world exploration — showing how technology, sensors, and simple logic make the machines around us “think.”
Duration: 10–12 minutes presentation + 10–15 minutes activity
Location: Teknogarden, Sagene IF
Participants: 2 groups × 4–5 people (total 8–10)
Price: Free
🧠 Workshop Stages
Introduction: Robots Around Us
We’ll begin with a simple question:
“How many robots have you already seen today?”
Together, we’ll explore what truly makes something a robot — and how many of them quietly exist in our daily lives.
Participants will look around the Teknogarden space to spot examples such as:
Smart vacuum cleaners, cameras, VR sets, or automatic doors
Devices that can sense, decide, and act
This interactive start helps participants realize that robots aren’t just from sci-fi — they’re all around us, making life easier in invisible ways.
⚙️ Robot Hunt & Group Discovery
Participants will split into two small groups (4–5 people each) for a Robot Hunt.
Each group will explore the environment, identify everyday robots, and discuss:
What does it sense?
What decision does it make?
What action does it take?
Afterward, groups share their findings — turning observation into an understanding of sensors, logic, and automation.
💡 Design Your Own Robot!
Now it’s time to create.
Each group will brainstorm a concept for their own helpful robot:
What problem does it solve?
What sensors would it need?
How would it help people, nature, or the community?
No coding or electronics needed — just imagination and teamwork.
The goal is to turn creative ideas into clear, functional robot concepts.
🎓 Learning Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants will gain:
Awareness of how robots exist in everyday life
Understanding of the “sense–think–act” principle
Stronger teamwork and creative problem-solving skills
Inspiration to explore coding, robotics, and technology further
🚀 What’s Next?
In the next session, we’ll take things one step further — participants will design and program their own robots, learning how to give commands, build behavior, and see their ideas come to life.
It’s time to move from understanding robots to creating them! 🤖💡
